Inorganic chemistry
Properties of elements and their compounds, metals and non-metals, oxides, hydroxides, acids and salts – reactions in molecular and ionic form.
Organic chemistry
Hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, acids, esters, amines, proteins and sugars. Reaction mechanisms, isomerism and identifying compounds by their properties.
